AC Systems History
AC Systems was founded in October, 1967, by Joe Zuffoletto, as a manufacturer’s representative for the purpose of promoting and selling HVAC equipment to consulting engineers and mechanical contractors in the Rocky Mountain region.
In 1965, the Liebert Corporation of Columbus, Ohio, was started as a new manufacturer of modular computer room air conditioning systems, designed to provide reliable and precise temperature and humidity control for sensitive computing equipment. In 1967 Liebert was in the process of establishing a rep network across the country to take their new concept to market. They named Joe Zuffoletto and AC Systems as their first rep west of the Mississippi for the Rocky Mountain states including Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. In the seventies, A C Systems added computer power systems and access flooring to its product lines in order to offer its customers a complete data center support system package.
In 1990, AC Systems relinquished Montana from its territory and added the northern part of New Mexico to its territory opening a second office in Albuquerque called AC New Mexico.
In 2006, Joe Zuffoletto, Jr. joined AC Systems as President and COO. Joe Sr. continues as CEO. This year AC Systems proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary both in business and especially as a Liebert representative having sold over half a billion dollars of Liebert equipment to date.
AC Systems credits its success to the reputation that the Liebert Corporation has acquired for manufacturing top quality and reliable equipment, the dedication and hard work of the AC Systems employees to provide outstanding service to its customers and last but not least the trust and loyalty that our customers have placed in us. We look forward to continuing this successful relationship for many more years to come.
